The story of The Consorts Hotels begins with a vision to create something truly unique in one of Pakistan's most breathtaking locations. In 2018, our founder, Asad Khan, stood on the shores of Attabad Lake and was captivated by its stunning turquoise waters and the majestic mountains that surrounded it. He envisioned a hotel that would allow guests to experience this natural wonder while minimizing impact on the pristine environment.
Inspired by the concept of sustainable architecture and the growing container home movement, Asad developed the idea of creating luxury accommodations using repurposed shipping containers. This innovative approach would not only reduce the environmental footprint but also create a distinctive aesthetic that complemented the dramatic landscape.
After two years of careful planning, design, and construction, The Consorts Hotels opened its doors in 2020, offering a unique eco-luxury experience on the shores of Attabad Lake. The hotel quickly gained recognition for its innovative design, breathtaking location, and commitment to sustainable practices.
